Miss Ann has worked as an assistant teacher in Pre K-2 since 1998.  In her "previous life", she was an R.N. working at Loyola Medical Center for 12 years until she took time off to be a stay-at-home Mom.  She has beem married to her husband, Bob for 34 years and has 3 great children:  Katie, Molly, and Danny.  She is an active volunteer for Rainbow Hospice, helping patients and their families.  "I really love working with the Pre K-2 children.  It's amazing to watch them mature over the course of the year.  It's such a wonderful age.  They are so creative and proud of their accomplishments.  They always keep me smiling, and most certainly keep me on my toes!"

Miss Eilis started working at Messiah Lutheran Child Care Center in 2001 after moving to Park Ridge from Dublin, Ireland.  In Dublin, she was trained as a Nursery Nurse and Play Therapist and worked with mentally and physically challenged children.  As a mother of five children, she has also spent time working with children doing home daycare.  "Nothing is more pleasing to me than to see a child come here and meet the challenges of interacting with other children in a positive, Christian environment.  It is a thrill to see them thrive during the time they spend with us.  I have made many wonderful friends with the teachers, parents and children here and look forward to making many more over the coming years."

Miss Diane has worked here at Messiah since 2005 with Miss Kelly in the Pre-K 1 class.  This year she has moved upstairs to be in the PK3 classroom with Miss Crisina  "I have enjoyed every minute.  Having the ability to watch our children grow and develop their skills is a privilege."

Miss Laura has been a teacher's assistant in the Pre-K 1up and Pre-K 2up classes since  2000.  She lives in Edison Park with her husband Jeff and son Conor who is 11 years old.  "I have loved working at Messiah all these years.  I always come in smiling and leave smiling.  It has been a wonderful experience to be with all the children.  Each one has a special place in my heart."

Miss Laurie has been in the Early Childhood profession for over 20 years and at Messiah since  1993.  She has been married for 35 years and has three adult children.  Two of the joys of her life are her grandchildren, Zoe and Zachery, who also attended Messiah.  She has taught all ages from infant through four years, but prefers working with the four year olds.  "First of all, they are starting to develop a sense of humor.  They love to joke and laugh with you .  Younger children tend to be more literal.  More importantly though, it is very rewarding to watch them develop into readers.  They are so excited when they realize that the letter sounds can be put together to make words.  Finally, my passion is to teach the children about the great art masters and the processes they use to produce their art.  It is so fulfilling for me when parents tell me their children take this information and love for art home and share it with their famillies."

Miss Suzanne's began at Messiah Lutheran Child Care Center in 2005.  She has spent the last 15 years working with school age children.  She lives in DesPlaines with her husband and 5 children.  "My goal is to help develop social and emotional growth in children.  It is a delight to observe them reach new 'milestones' of development."

Miss Cristina is very excited to be working as Messiah's Pre-K 3 teacher this year.  She began her teaching career at Messiah as a teacher's assistant.  After teaching in Cicero, she is back and happier than ever.  "After working with children aging in range from 3 - 14, I believe that all children have a unique learning style and it is my goal as a teacher to help them succeed."

Miss Amy is an assistant teacher in Miss Vanessa's room in Pre-K 2.  "I am enjoying working at Messiah with all the wonderful teachers and children."

Miss Vanessa had been the lead teacher for our Younger 3's since 2008.  She has also been found helping out in the Kindergarten class, too.  This year, she has started teaching one of our PK2 up classes.  "It is such a blessing to be a part of the children's 1st year preschool experience.  It is not always easy for children to transition from being at home to being at school, so one of our goals is to have the children feel loved and to love school!"
