Extended Day

The 2019– 2020 school year will run from Tuesday, August 27, 2019 – Thursday, June 11, 2020. Messiah Lutheran Child Care Center opens at 6:30 a.m. and closes at 5:30 p.m. Our variety of classes offers flexibility in scheduling. Children may attend a minimum of two days per week up to five days per week.
** Programs/classrooms listed are subject to adjustment depending on enrollment.

You may also choose which hours to send your child:

  • A.M. Pre-school
    9 – 11:30 a.m.
    9 – noon. (11:30 – noon is unstructured playtime)

  • Kindergarten/Junior Kindergarten
    9 – noon
    9 – 1:30 p.m. (with enrichment)

  • Half-day hours
    7:30 – noon (excludes lunch)
    8 - 12:30 (includes lunch)
    8:30 – 1p.m. (includes lunch)
    9 – 1:30 p.m. (includes lunch)
    12:45 - 5:15 pm (excludes lunch)

  • Full day (9 Hours)
    7 a.m. – 4 p.m.
    or 8:30 – 5:30, etc.

  • Full day (10 Hours)
    7 a.m. – 5 p.m.
    or 7:30 – 5:30 p.m.

*When you need occasional extended time for your child at school, extra time is available at an hourly rate.

Lunch at Messiah
Hot lunch is served at noon. Our lunches are catered from Quality Catering and include a wide variety of delicious, child-friendly food.  Children also have a snack in the morning and full day students enjoy an afternoon snack, as well. Lunch menus can be found on our web page and are distributed to families every 3 months. Messiah is a peanut and tree-nut cautious school.
