Great Lakes Scrip Company was founded in 1994, and was set up to make the 'work' of fundraising a parental responsibility and not an after-school project for our children. Great Lakes offers hundreds of local and nationwide grocery, retail, restaurants, gas stations, and specialty gift cards to our organization at a discount. these cards are the same ones you would purchase directly from the participating vendors.

"It's a pretty incredible way to raise a lot of money for your organization, and the best part is everyone can participate! After all, we spend money on things like gas and groceries, so you might as well use scrip to help your organization."
Orders are sent in monthly on the Monday following the second Sunday of the month. Order forms will be placed in your child's file and are also available in our office or on our website.

Several times a year, Messiah Child Care Center sponsors a fundraiser held at a local restaurant. It's so simple-just skip the cooking, put your family in the car and come out and enjoy good food and socializing with other Messiah families. At most of the restaurants, you need to simply mention Messiah Child Care, or show a flyer before you order. Some restaurants will even apply our fundraiser to carry out and delivered food!! Messiah then receives a % of your final bill. Past fundraisers have included Moretti's, Culver's, Potbellys, and Nonno Pino. Watch for information throughout the year.

Every April, the Scholastic Book Fair arrives at Messiah. A truck load of wonderful books for our families gets delivered and parents and children are welcome to shop throughout the week. All proceeds benefit the Messiah Child Care Library.

Scholastic book clubs
Scholastic Book order forms will be put in each child's file 3 or 4 times/year. Orders can also be made online.
